January Working Bee

We had wonderful attendance at the January working bee. The Management Committee appreciated the members who volunteered their time for cleaning, yard maintenance, and repairs at the Centre. It was very pleasing that all of the planned jobs were completed. The hall looks great!

We had a nice morning tea with lots of sweet things provided. It was a great chance to catch up on everybody's festive season and family news.

Members from the Table Tennis, the Indoor Bowls, Ladies Snooker, Mahjong, Games Cafe, and Line Dancing activities and the Committee were working industrially. The following members we would like to thank individually: Chris Mills, Rhyll Gardner, Craig Longoria, Jimmy Heaney, Peter and Barbara Tonks, Lisa Clark, Val Graham, Lynn and John Squire, Steven Pinkard, Susan Dunnick, Terry Denny, Fiona Semple, Joe Vonhof, Roslyn Windley, Alan Ormiston , Graeme and Caryl Edwards, Julie Byrne, Roslyn Thomason, Kevin Petersen. If anyone was missed, we do apologise. Thanks also to Craig Longoria who has upgraded some electronics long overdue.

Many thanks to everyone and it made us realise that a large percentage of our members really do care about keeping our Centre well cared for and maintained. Without volunteers, this Centre would not be able to function. Volunteers consist of not only those who participate in working bees, but also activity leaders and committee members.
