It's about time ... and it's all about the sound!
The eagerly awaited acoustic panels and upgraded sound system are now installed. They'll make a huge difference to events held in our hall. The hall feels more comfortable, and concerts will sound sooo much better.
A successful $30K grant application to the Gaming Commission made it possible to install the hall's acoustic panels, upgrade the public address and sound system, and install an overhead projector and screen in the snooker room.
The OHP and screen were with compliments from Krakken Technologies, who installed the acoustic panels and sound system in the hall. These audiovisual resources will be useful for meetings and classes.
The Centre is still waiting delivery of new wall speakers. At the moment our existing speakers are still in use.
